There are two things that need to be changed to do this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Install the package <code>gnome-raw-thumbnailer<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Change the settings in &#8220;Files&#8221; to enable the thumbnails for larger files.  From the &#8220;Files&#8221; menu, choose Edit > Preferences.  Select the Preview tab.
