In the KDE Control Panel, clicking &#8220;set date and time automatically&#8221; failed to find the time server.  From the command line, I did:<br \/><code><br \/>service ntpd stop<br \/>ntpdate 0.pool.ntp.org<br \/>service ntpd start<br \/><\/code><br \/>Check with:<br \/><code><br \/>ntpq<br \/>ntpq> pe<br \/><\/code><br \/>and now it works.
