Installing TTF fonts on Fedora Core

Copy TTF file to a directory, say /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF.
Edit /etc/fonts/local.conf and make sure that directory is in a line like this:
<dir>/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF</dir>
inside the <fontconfig> section

Restart X and you're in business.
